Job summary

HireNow Staffing is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineering Project Manager – Land Development in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead residential and commercial projects, supervise internal teams and subconsultants, and ensure design excellence from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in land development, strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills, with on-site work in Phoenix and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of land development project management experience.
• Experience leading residential and site development projects.
• Strong civil engineering design and technical expertise.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proven leadership in managing engineering teams.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and resource management skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Onsite work in Phoenix, AZ; US-work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and commercial land development projects from planning through delivery.
• Direct internal engineering teams and coordinate subconsultants.
• Prepare scopes, cost estimates, proposals, and negotiate agreements.
• Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall performance.
• Serve as primary client contact and build long-term relationships.
• Provide technical leadership across all project phases.
• Mentor and develop engineers to support career growth.
• Maintain QA/QC standards across deliverables.
• Apply advanced civil engineering principles to complex design challenges.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D throughout planning and production.
