Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Land Design Engineer to join our Southeast Engineering Team in a hybrid office role based in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC. The candidate will perform civil design, coordinate across disciplines, and support municipal and state permitting efforts.

Required are a BS in Engineering and 3–8+ years in civil engineering, with PE preferred or obtainable within six months. Strong communication and project coordination skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering required.
• PE or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
• 3–8+ years of civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Site Layout, Grading, Storm Drainage, Water & Sewer Utilities design.
• Erosion and Sediment Control oversight.
• Storm Water Best Management Practices implementation.
• Civil 3D plans, exhibits, and technical deliverables.
• Municipal and State permitting coordination.
