RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Land Acquisition Manager to lead land acquisition and management for wind, solar, storage, and hydrogen projects in the Central US. You will oversee title tasks, due diligence, and legal coordination while guiding a team of land professionals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in land acquisition, strong negotiation, and experience with surface/mineral title and curative efforts. This remote/hybrid role requires Chicago-area presence and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in land acquisition or real estate.
• Knowledge of land-use regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong negotiation and contract management.
• Experience in renewables (solar/wind/storage) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead land acquisition strategy for renewables projects.
• Manage title review, curative efforts, and document prep.
• Coordinate with legal to structure land agreements.
• Perform due diligence, title searches, and permitting.
• Budget, track expenses, and manage third-party resources.
