Job summary

Signature IT World Inc. is seeking a hands-on Principal Data Platform & AI Architect to design an enterprise Lakehouse and Agentic AI capabilities for analytics and data products.

You will lead architecture discussions, drive data governance, and implement AI-ready data layers with Medallion architecture, Delta Lake, and vector stores. This role requires deep Databricks/Lakehouse expertise and OCI/AIDP exposure, with strong design-thinking.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on Databricks and enterprise Lakehouse experience.
• Deep understanding of data contracts, metadata, lineage, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise Lakehouse architecture including ingestion, pipelines, storage, processing and governance.
• Define scalable Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers for analytics and AI consumption.
• Design federated data-access patterns with compute pushdown and caching.
• Establish data products, metadata, lineage, data quality, schema evolution, and decentralized governance.
• Create self-service data discovery, access, lifecycle, archival and entitlement workflows.
• Define automated schema evolution, mapping, CI/CD, asset bundling and environment promotion.
• Architect AI-ready data capabilities using semantic layers, knowledge graphs, vector stores, and agent memory.
• Lead MCP and A2A integration patterns connecting AI agents with enterprise data and APIs.
• Integrate Informatica IDMC, ServiceNow, PostgreSQL/Oracle databases, CRM, Jira, Confluence, and IAM.
• Guide governance, security, and stakeholder alignment through implementation.
