Job summary

UCT in Austin, TX is seeking a Sr Test Equipment Engineer to design, develop, and validate automated test systems and control software for gas, liquid, and electro-mechanical subsystems.

You will create LabVIEW-based test programs, build prototypes, and execute qualification testing to ensure reliable performance. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to deliver robust test solutions and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• LabVIEW certification (CLD or higher) required.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience with NI hardware and LabVIEW-based test systems.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test programs using LabVIEW.
• Drive development of qualification test procedures and software qualification.
• Create test documentation, prototypes, and conduct testing.
• Coordinate validation and commissioning of test software with design/manufacturing teams.
• Prepare reports of results and conclusions for management.
