Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Bronxville, NY seeks a Laboratory Technologist for the Central Labs on the Day shift. Perform routine and complex tests across blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology with strict QC and result documentation.

Full-time position with 8:00am–4:00pm schedule, rotating weekends/holidays, located at NYP Westchester. Competitive sign-on bonus up to $10K; ASCP preferred and NYS CLT license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or any other health science related field.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department.
• Two–Three years of experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens across areas including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology.
• Perform quality control procedures and document results; follow-up on out-of-range results.
• Work a full-time day shift 8:00am–4:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
• Position located at NYP Westchester in Bronxville.
