Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Animal Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 2 years of work-related experience in a laboratory setting or related area.
• Experience with biosafety and safety training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a designated laboratory.
• Perform tests and interpret results from data collected or received from external sources.
• Operate, maintain, and repair complex research instruments.
• Communicate results to internal and external clients.
• Develop advanced research methods and procedures as needed.
• Maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of results.
• Teach and supervise undergraduate/graduate students in lab settings.
