Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for the operation of laboratory departments.
• Operates laboratory departments in a cost-effective manner.
• Assures quality operation of laboratory departments.
• Manages personnel and staffing assignments.
• Evaluates employee performance and recommends actions to the director.
• Assists the Laboratory Director with operations and acts as general supervisor as needed.
