Job summary

ECS Limited in Dover, Delaware, seeks a certified Construction Materials Testing Senior Laboratory Technician I to join our concrete and soils laboratories. You will perform a variety of tests, interpret data, and support QA/QC under supervision.

The role offers growth opportunities, hands-on training with experienced staff, and exposure to ASTM standards. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years' related experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and laboratory

Proficiency with laboratory equipment and ASTM testing methods.
Ability to interpret test data and prepare summaries or reports.

Responsibilities

Performs laboratory testing on construction material samples.
Applies standard and advanced testing procedures per ASTM standards.
Interprets test data and prepares summaries or reports under supervision.
Performs calculations and data reduction for test results.
Supports advanced testing activities under guidance of senior staff.
Trains and mentors junior laboratory staff.
Maintains clean and organized laboratory in compliance with QA/QC and accreditation requirements.
Performs calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and maintains records.
