Siltronic-Corporation is seeking a Laboratory Services and Metrology Manager to lead professionals and technicians in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. You will review reports, set priorities, and guide analytical approaches, ensuring safety and compliance while coordinating with global metrology teams.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD with 7+ years in related fields and at least 2 years in a leadership position.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years related experience with semiconductor manufacturing preferred, including 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry, material science, silicon technology, wafer manufacturing, statistics, SPC, and experimental design.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, technical writing, communication and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage professionals and technicians in a laboratory setting.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and dismiss staff as needed.
• Represent the company regionally/globally in meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ensure laboratory safety and manage department databases and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional teams and align lab services with manufacturing needs.
• Oversee lab design, safety, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Communicate with international metrology colleagues and develop new analytical methodologies.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance product quality, yield and efficiency.
• Support CAPEX planning and lead acquisition of metrology equipment.
