Siltronic Corporation seeks a Laboratory Services and Metrology Manager to lead a team of professionals in a dynamic laboratory environment. The role oversees analytical methods, reports, and vendor interactions while guiding staffing decisions and global collaboration on metrology topics.

The position requires strong chemistry/materials knowledge, silicon technology expertise, and proven leadership in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD preferred in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related field; a Bachelor’s with significant relevant experience may be considered.
• Seven+ years of related experience, including at least two years in semiconductor manufacturing and three years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry, material science, silicon technology, wafer manufacturing, statistics, and analytical methods; leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage professionals and technicians in a laboratory setting.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and dismiss staff as needed.
• Serve as regional/global representative for metrology and lab topics in meetings with stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
• Ensure safety of department personnel and supervise department databases and reports.
• Lead cross-functional discussions requiring sound judgment and diplomacy.
• Analyze department activities for workflow, equipment needs, and improvements aligned with production.
