Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school is preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• 5+ years of experience in labor relations, with focus on unions.
• Proven ability to craft agreements, handle union contracts and negotiate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of labor relations within the organization.
• Develop, implement, and manage company policies related to labor relations.
• Create and craft agreements, negotiate union contracts, and strategize negotiation tactics.
• Provide overall union contract administration, including language interpretation and guidance on labor issues.
• Oversee the grievance process to resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily.
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure compliance with policies and labor laws.
• Advise management on labor law regulations and mitigate legal risks.
• Develop positive relationships with union representatives and employees.
