The role focuses on traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance arbitration, with opportunities toadvise employers and advocate before the NLRB.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in traditional labor law, Colorado bar admission in good standing, and excellent written and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Colorado, in good standing.
• 7+ years of traditional labor law experience.
• Experience in mixed employment litigation and some labor experience will be considered.
• Extensive experience in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining and contract administration.
• Grievance arbitration experience with the ability to handle matters independently.
• Experience defending and prosecuting unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical, and research skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration.
• Handle grievance arbitration proceedings and related labor disputes.
• Defend and prosecute unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB.
• Provide strategic counseling to clients on traditional labor matters and compliance issues.
• Support litigation matters involving labor relations and employment disputes.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to deliver efficient and effective legal solutions.
