Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited school and Florida licensure required.
• Minimum 5+ years of legal practice with state and federal court experience.
• Experience in civil litigation and labor & employment law or litigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient research and motion practice.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal issues and conduct thorough legal research.
• Develop and present defense strategies from inception through trial.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
• Provide timely legal advice and information to clients.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel with professionalism.
• Participate in claims file reviews.
• Conduct trials, depositions, arbitration, and mediations independently.
• Attend continuing legal education to maintain expertise.
