The ideal candidate will provide advisory and negotiating support and help navigate complex labor relations. Responsibilities include representing clients in disputes, advising on compliance, and developing business relationships.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• Significant experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong background representing public entities such as school boards or municipalities preferred.
• Experience representing private sector clients is also considered.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including disputes, negotiations, and advisory work.
• Provide legal counsel to public and/or private sector clients.
• Handle matters involving labor relations, collective bargaining, and employment compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to business development efforts (for partner‑level candidates).
