Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5 years of related experience in a test environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use hand/power tools to fabricate test fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the engineering lab area and ensure test equipment is calibrated and functional.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lab policies.
• Analyze methods for evaluating new and existing products and conduct tests per procedures.
• Document test results and provide status updates to engineering staff.
• Collaborate with design engineering on customer validation requests and risk assessments.
