The START Center for Cancer Research in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to support the Labs and PK team in Phase 1 studies and routine lab operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely specimen processing.

Formación

• Associate degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• 2 years of laboratory experience with knowledge of safety protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record programs and laboratory information systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Labeling, chain of custody, handling, processing, storage, packaging, and shipment of specimens per protocol.
• Perform CLIA-waived, point-of-care and other authorized laboratory testing.
• Operate point-of-care analyzers and lab equipment per procedures.
• Review quality control results and suspend testing if criteria are not met.
• Maintain and document quality control, maintenance, and competency records.
• Prepare specimens for external laboratory vendors and record results per procedures.
