Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Clinical Lab Associate, Specimen Processing to manage day-to-day operations in the Specimen Processing Department. You will lead workflow, troubleshoot automation, and ensure data integrity while following GDP and safety policies.

The role requires 2+ years in a lab setting and 1+ year leadership. Strong knowledge of CAP/GLP/GDP/CLIA/HIPAA is preferred. Location is Madison, WI with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory, medical or high throughput environment.
• 1+ year of experience leading, mentoring and/or coaching others.
• Knowledge of CAP, GLP, GDP, CLIA, NYSDOH, and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations of the Specimen Processing Department.
• Lead production workflow and automation troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation following GDP and safety policies.
• Support SOP development, audits, and departmental goals.
