Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Sr. Lab Services Specialist to coordinate critical lab support activities, including freezer defrost and calibration services, for our Unity Lab Services team.

You will serve as the main point of contact for customers and vendors, manage service requests, and ensure activities are conducted safely and efficiently per SOPs and GMP standards. The role emphasizes independent work at customer sites, training others, and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• GxP environment or laboratory setting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee lab support services to ensure timely execution and continuity of operations.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and vendors, coordinating requests and addressing issues.
• Independently manage daily service activities with limited supervision to meet site objectives.
