Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Labs, to lead on-site laboratory construction and renovation projects in Mountain View, CA. You will drive initiatives from initiation to closeout, coordinating with clients, scientists, architects, engineers and vendors to deliver high-quality facilities on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project or construction management experience.
• 5+ years of MEP systems experience with respect to preconstruction and construction management.
• Broad understanding of the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of laboratory design, operations, and specialized equipment.
• Certifications such as PMP or LEED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage laboratory construction and renovation projects from initiation to closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, scientists, researchers, and stakeholders to define objectives.
• Develop detailed plans with scope, budget, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors for delivery.
• Obtain permits, licenses, and approvals for laboratory projects.
• Manage budgets and monitor costs against estimates.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address issues.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety guidelines, and client requirements.
• Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning, and training of equipment.
• Handover facilities to facility managers and operations teams.
• Track performance, report to stakeholders, and manage project documentation.
• Perform risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on lab design trends and regulations.
• Mentor and lead project teams to ensure effective execution.
