Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation in Arlington, VA is seeking a Lab Manager III to lead Linux systems administration across dev, lab, and production environments. You will deploy and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux, automate with Ansible, and administer Splunk for monitoring and analytics.

You will collaborate across locations to support government clients, implement security controls, and develop SOPs for lab operations, ensuring performance and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/CIS or HS Diploma with 7+ years of lab management or systems administration.
• 5+ years of direct Linux System Administration experience.
• 3+ years of Splunk Enterprise administration and log ingestion.
• 3+ years of Ansible automation experience.
• Must be able to collaborate across physical locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Linux Systems Administrator over RHEL environments across dev, lab and production.
• Perform large-scale configuration management across Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix and virtual environments.
• Support implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab.
• Provide ongoing systems administration, support, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles and workflows.
• Configure and maintain Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for provisioning and config mgmt.
• Administer Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Cloud for monitoring and security analytics.
• Implement security controls including STIG compliance and access management.
