Job summary

Base One Technologies seeks an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to oversee RHEL environments across development, lab, and production systems. The role involves large-scale configuration management and deployment across Windows, MacOS, and Linux/Unix environments to support TEN infrastructures.

You will develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automate provisioning, while configuring Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for large-scale deployment and compliance enforcement.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
• 5+ years of Linux System Administration experience.
• 3+ years of Splunk Enterprise administration and log ingestion.
• 3+ years of Ansible automation experience (Ansible Core or Ansible Tower/AAP).
• Ability to collaborate across physical locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RHEL environments across development, lab, and production systems.
• Perform large scale configuration management and deployment across Windows, MacOS, Linux/Unix, and other OSes and VMs.
• Support implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.
• Provide ongoing systems administration, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting services.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows for deployment and provisioning.
• Configure and maintain Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for large-scale provisioning and compliance.
• Administer Splunk Enterprise/Cloud for monitoring and analytics.
• Implement security controls including STIGs, access management and audit configurations.
