Job summary

Base One Technologies is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to manage RHEL environments across development, lab, and production systems. The role emphasizes automation with Ansible and secure operations using Splunk for monitoring and analytics.

You will implement STIGs, maintain dashboards, and work closely with teams across locations to ensure reliable infrastructure and compliant configurations. This on-site position requires federal clearance readiness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• 3+ years of Splunk Enterprise administration and log ingestion.
• 3+ years of Ansible automation experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DHS suitability; active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Linux RHEL environments across development, lab, and production systems.
• Automate deployment and config management with Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Configure and maintain Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Cloud for monitoring and security analytics.
• Implement security controls, STIG compliance, and access management.
• Develop lab SOPs and contribute to policy development.
