Job summary
ARSIEM Corporation in Arlington, VA is seeking a Lab Manager III to lead IT labs supporting government clients. The role requires hands-on lab management, systems administration across Linux/Unix and MacOS, and coordination with teams in different locations to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure.
You will implement SOPs, manage VPN/VDI services (Citrix, VMware), monitor storage and access controls, and pursue SIEM enhancements.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or HS Diploma with 7+ years of lab management or systems administration.
- 5+ years of directly relevant system administration experience.
- Experience with Linux/Unix, MacOS, and Windows environments.
- Experience with VPNs and virtual desktops (Citrix, VMware).
- Ability to work across multiple physical locations.
- Preferred: SIEM experience (ELK, Splunk), Jamf Pro, DEP, Enterprise Connect.
- Desired certifications: CEH, Security+, Network+, CCNA.
- Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI and DHS Suitability.
Responsibilities
- Support lab technologies and equipment in Arlington, VA.
- Assess network topology and configurations; provide security best practices.
- Develop SOPs and policies for lab operations.
- Provide VPN and VDI support to users (Citrix, VMware).
- Troubleshoot storage, backups, and access control; monitor performance.
