Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior laboratory infrastructure engineer to design, administer, and maintain Developmental Labs for testing infrastructure and applications before deployment. You will configure testing, monitoring, and management tools for alpha and beta testing across classification levels and fabrics.

Qualifications

• Must hold Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start.
• DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)
• HS and 12+ years of experience, an AA and 10+ years of experience, BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, MS/MA and 6+ years of experience, or PhD and 4+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience designing, integrating, validating, and implementing infrastructure, software, test, and monitoring and management solutions
• Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies
• Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (or higher)

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and maintain Developmental Labs to test infrastructure and applications before deployment.
• Design and configure software, testing, monitoring, and management tools for Alpha and Beta testing across classification levels.
• Develop test plans, integrations, and assessments for new technology, systems, and services.
• Perform technical and functional upgrades to Developmental Labs.
• Construct virtualization and simulation environments to maximize existing hardware and software and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations teams, stakeholders, cyber engineers, and government leads on lab requirements and configurations.
• Coordinate requirements and configurations for IATTs and collect evidence needed for ATOs.
• Serve as point of contact for lab activities, visits, demonstrations, and security management.
• Assist with testing and product documentation.
• Facilitate validation of disaster recovery and COOP plans in lab settings.
• Engage vendor partners and OEMs regarding technology status, updates, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain detailed lab environment specifications, designs, diagrams, charts, and equipment configurations.
• Facilitate schedules, materials, and configurations for testing rounds.
• Research and test hardware and software products for performance and interoperability.
• Provide engineering services supporting operations transition
