Job summary

Tyson Foods operates a dedicated Food Laboratory where you will perform chemistry work instructions and quality system procedures, operating advanced instruments while maintaining ISO records for process control.

The role requires strong problem solving, multitasking, and the ability to train less experienced teammates. A science degree with lab experience or extensive lab training including chromatography is required, with a 2nd shift as listed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science discipline plus 2 years of lab experience, or over 4 years technical training in a laboratory-related position, including at least a year of chromatography experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of lab related experience.
• Experience in chromatography with troubleshooting, maintenance, and data review of chromatography results.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry work instructions and quality system procedures in a Food Laboratory.
• Operate and maintain advanced lab equipment and instruments.
• Maintain ISO records for process control and safety requirements.
• Assist in inventory management and logging of lab supplies; support training of junior staff.
