Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR seeks a laboratory specialist to perform chemistry work instructions within a Food Laboratory. You will operate advanced lab equipment, maintain ISO records, and assist in process improvements while ensuring accuracy and safety across quality systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline with chromatography experience and 2+ years in a laboratory setting. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline plus 2 years of lab experience, or over 4 years technical training in a laboratory-related position, including at least a year of chromatography experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of lab related experience; chromatography experience with troubleshooting and maintenance expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry work instructions and quality system procedures in a Food Laboratory.
• Learn and operate advanced lab equipment; work independently and resolve complex problems.
• Maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality/safety requirements.
• Provide routine maintenance and calibration of advanced instrumentation.
• Assist in training less experienced team members and manage inventory and lab supplies.
