Job summary

Apple Service Engineering (ASE) Compute team seeks an experienced software engineer to build and enhance Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure, with emphasis on GPUs. You will collaborate with world-class engineers to scale services and deliver reliable platforms.

You will partner with SRE to triage production issues, drive architecture, and help Kubernetes core components fit Apple's diverse needs for high performance and availability.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong experience building and scaling core components of Kubernetes or similar systems.
• Highly proficient in Golang and in building and operating large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams across Apple to develop features for Kubernetes clusters and GPUs.
• Improve the scalability, availability, and performance of services centered around Kubernetes.
• Evolve design and architecture to support continued growth while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Partner with SRE to triage, investigate, and remediate production issues.
