Job summary

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) Data Platform team is seeking engineers who can design, develop, and deploy high-performance data systems used across Apple. You will work on scalable pipelines that process millions of events daily, delivering low-latency insights and reliable storage, caching, and search capabilities.

Ideal candidates have strong programming in Go/Java/Scala, IaC, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, plus a degree in CS/CE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and building distributed systems with low latency and high availability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable data platform services handling millions of queries daily.
• Collaborate across teams to build infrastructure for structured/unstructured storage, caching, and search.
• Build fault-tolerant systems with emphasis on reliability and performance.
