Job summary

PNC is seeking an experienced Business Technology Manager Sr. to lead enterprise Kubernetes platform operations in Dallas. You will align technical delivery with business goals, shaping Day-2 strategy, infrastructure architecture, and platform adoption across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will partner with DevOps, security, and networking teams, drive CI/CD improvements, and ensure secure, scalable, high‑performing container workloads. Strong communication to stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years in technology with container platform operations leadership.
10+ years with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and CI/CD tools.
Experience in Agile environments, preferably with developer platform products.
Strong Kubernetes, container orchestration, and DevOps tooling background.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP and on‑prem OpenShift or bare‑metal Kubernetes.
Ability to lead technical strategy in a matrixed organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
Bridge technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure scalable infra solutions.
Define Day-2 operations roadmap and platform adoption strategy.
Oversee CI/CD optimization and IaC practices across environments.
Prevent over-provisioning and manage resource requests and scaling.
Drive cost optimization and reliability aligned to SLAs/SLOs.
Act as incident escalation lead for production clusters.
