Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Business Technology Manager to lead day-to-day operations of enterprise Kubernetes-based container platforms from Dallas, TX. You will bridge engineering teams with business stakeholders, defining roadmaps and driving adoption across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes Day-2 operations strategy, secure scalable infrastructure, and cross-functional leadership in a matrix organization with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in technology with extensive leadership experience in container platforms.
• 10+ years knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Platform Leadership: maintain resilient containerized infrastructure.
• Performance Optimization: improve performance and reliability of workloads.
• Upgrades & Maintenance: manage non-disruptive Kubernetes rollouts.
• Security & Compliance: enforce security, scan images, enforce policies.
• Operational Excellence: optimize CI/CD, IaC, and runtimes across teams.
• Resource Efficiency: prevent over-provisioning in clusters.
• Cost Optimization: reduce on-prem/cloud expenses while maintaining SLOs/SLAs.
• Incident Response: lead RCA for production outages.
