PNC is seeking an accomplished Software Engineering Group Manager to lead Kubernetes-based container platforms, shaping the strategy and roadmap for enterprise workloads across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role requires 10+ years in technology, deep Kubernetes expertise, and strong leadership to drive platform adoption, security, and reliable runtime orchestration across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in technology leading Container Platform Engineering teams and agile product environments.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmap for Kubernetes-based container platforms and CaaS.
• Design, deploy, and manage highly available containerized infrastructure.
• Oversee product development, translate requirements into technical specs for runtimes, security, and orchestration.
• Ensure developer usability via self-service options, APIs, and documentation.
• Represent customers, study trends, and guide adoption across teams.
• Lead architecture standards for CI/CD, microservices, and observability.
