Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to drive the global expansion of the Falcon platform. You are a hands-on expert with deep Kubernetes experience, designing scalable hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure and guiding platform reliability at scale.

You will evaluate open-source technologies, mentor engineers, and collaborate across distributed teams while ensuring CJIS-compliant security and high availability.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (US citizenship/Green Card).
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience including management of clusters with thousands of nodes.
• Experience with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, Golang.
• Experience with large scale Linux environments.
• Experience operating in clouds: AWS, GCP, OCI.
• Experience operating in custom data centers.
• Familiarity with on-call shifts.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions at scale.
• Optimize and maintain high reliability of large-scale infrastructure platform systems.
• Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies into existing workflows.
• Provide technical direction for evolving Kubernetes infrastructure services.
• Mentor and develop less-senior engineers to drive technical decisions.
