You will own Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and cost visibility, collaborating with software and IT teams to support AI/ML initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent training.
• 5+ years in software development, DevOps, Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Platforms engineering, or a related field.
• Hybrid Infrastructure Lifecycle: experience across on-prem data centers and public cloud with automation.
• Cloud Platforms: experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure; AWS certs are a plus.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Chef, or similar tools.
• Programming Languages: Go, Python, Groovy, or Java.
• System Administration: Linux, Windows, macOS; Talos Linux a plus.
• Scripting: Unix shell and PowerShell.
• Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Platforms: hands-on with Kubernetes and ecosystem tools.
• CI/CD, GitOps, and Artifact Management: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, Artifactory; GitOps workflows.
• Secrets, Identity, and Access Management: Vault, OIDC, Keycloak, Okta, workload identity.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Building productive relationships and sharing expertise via presentations and training sessions.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining effective documentation and written communications.
• Automation: Enhancing team productivity by identifying opportunities to automate and eliminate waste in processes.
• Infrastructure Lifecycle Management: Designing, building, operating, upgrading, and retiring infrastructure across on-premises and cloud with reliability and cost considerations.
• Kubernetes Platform Ownership: Operating and evolving Kubernetes-based platforms and supporting technologies including cluster lifecycle and networking.
• CNCF and Open-Source Stewardship: Maintaining CNCF/open-source platforms in production with troubleshooting, upgrades, automation, and internal enablement.
• Developer Experience: Improving software developer experience and productivity by reducing friction and automating testing and deployments.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Designing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps pipelines.
• Security, Identity, and Policy Automation: Supporting secure platform operations through policy enforcement and secrets management.
• Observability: Building observability platforms for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, and health."
• AI/ML Integration: Supporting AI/ML infrastructure and services.
• Cost Efficiency: Reducing waste and cutting costs in cloud/Kubernetes infra.
