Job summary

Camunda is seeking a talented engineer to develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators for our Camunda 8 SaaS offering. You’ll ensure reliability across customer clusters and tackle multi-cloud deployments spanning GCP and AWS.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, write Go code, and drive security, automation, and reliability. This is a fully remote, global role with a strong emphasis on hands-on ownership.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators for Camunda SaaS offering.
• Experience with cloud-native software development (Go).
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Collaborate with product, engineering and field teams to ship features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators to manage Camunda SaaS offering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, field) to define, ship, and iterate on features.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve codebase for security, stability, and reliability.
• Be an advocate for new ideas and help build a team environment that values creativity and practicality.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and 3rd level escalation support to ensure system reliability.
