Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to lead operations and administration of container orchestration platforms at scale. You will bridge cloud infrastructure and application delivery to ensure resilient, secure, and highly available environments.

You will manage Kubernetes clusters across EKS, AKS, and GKE, implement robust networking with CNI plugins, and strengthen security with strong access controls and policy enforcement. Remote-friendly with competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Platform/DevOps or Infrastructure engineering.
• Proven expertise in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters on EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Proficiency with Docker and cluster lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking (CNI) and security implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Helm and service meshes (Istio or Linkerd).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters across major cloud providers.
• Design networking configurations using CNI plugins for seamless connectivity.
• Strengthen security posture with robust access controls and policy enforcement.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts to streamline deployments.
• Tune cluster performance and resource utilization for production workloads.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot infrastructure and provide guidance.
