Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Engineer to support modernization and migration of containerized workloads in a government multi‑cloud environment with 70+ tenants. You will design and lead AKS and ARK implementations, host AI-agent workloads, and act as a technical escalation point for complex incidents.

The role requires extensive Kubernetes expertise, Azure security know‑how, and strong collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in STEM with required experience.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes deployments and AKS.
• FedRAMP compliance and Azure security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents and outages.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes.
• Define observability standards with Azure Monitor and OpenTelemetry.
• Maintain AKS clusters and ARK runtime across 70+ tenants.
• Mentor Tier 2 engineers and share knowledge.
