Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with deep Kubernetes and cloud-native experience to lead the evolution of our managed services on our IaaS platform.

You will provide architectural oversight, mentor teams, and partner with cross-functional leaders to integrate open-source technologies, delivering scalable, secure cloud-native solutions that power our global edge and cloud offerings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience building and scaling managed Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Strong knowledge of container runtimes and orchestrators.
• Proficient in Go and Python; Bash scripting as needed.
