Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead evolution of our managed Kubernetes and cloud-native services.

You will drive scale, performance, and security while integrating open-source technologies to deliver simple-to-use managed services to customers. You will provide architectural direction across product teams, act as a technical authority, and collaborate with leadership to align cloud-native initiatives with core platform infrastructure.

Formación

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience building and scaling managed services and Kubernetes-based platforms
• Expert knowledge of container runtimes and orchestrators
• Mastery in Go, Python, or Bash
• Champion for an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture

Responsabilidades

• Provide cross-team architectural oversight and strategic guidance for cloud-native efforts
• Serve as technical authority for cloud-native initiatives and ensure architectural alignment
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to integrate diverse cloud-native technologies
• Facilitate a unified technical strategy for deploying cloud-native services
• Mentor engineering teams and promote shared technical standards
