Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr Kitchen Maintenance Tech to maintain and repair a large inventory of commercial kitchen equipment. The role includes preventative maintenance, equipment installations and advising on capital equipment needs.

You will work in a busy campus kitchen environment with a focus on safety and reliability. The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, 5–7 years preferred, a high school diploma, and Universal Technician refrigeration/AC/heating

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cooking and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment, including compressors and EMS controls.
• Maintain and repair coolers, freezers, ice machines and other restaurant equipment.
• Perform general commercial maintenance with scheduled and unscheduled preventive tasks.
• Log into the work order system to manage requests and document work.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
