Job summary

Adams County seeks a Social Caseworker IV - Kinship Foster Care Certification and Support Lead Caseworker to provide intensive case management and support to kinship providers, ensuring safe, stable placements.

You will lead the Kinship Services team in partnership with the Kinship Support Supervisor, train and mentor staff, conduct home safety assessments, and coordinate kinship training and other support activities.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time social casework experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in human behavioral sciences.
• Colorado Child Welfare certification required, within 3 months of employment.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License and automotive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive short term and ongoing case management services to kinship providers.
• Lead/specialist role; train, mentor, and oversee Kinship Services team.
• Assist with home safety assessments and ensure safe, stable placements.
• Support kinship orientation and kinship training and other kinship support opportunities.
• Maintain documentation in TRAILS monthly and communicate with treatment team.
• Collaborate with supervisor and community partners to strengthen services.
