Job summary

Houger International, based in Houston, is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager for Industrial Projects. You will own strategic relationships with energy, engineering, and manufacturing clients, designing and overseeing agile, end-to-end logistics solutions for high-stakes operations.

Responsibilities include leading complex project lifecycles, driving commercial negotiations, and mitigating risks through market insight and Houger’s global network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic account management or project logistics in industrial sectors
• Multi-million dollar, long-cycle logistics project experience
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and senior-level presentation skills
• Understanding of out-of-gauge (OOG), heavy-lift and project cargo challenges
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities

Responsibilities

• Strategic Relationship Management: single point of contact for key industrial accounts
• Complex Solution Design: collaborate to design end-to-end logistics for large-scale projects
• Project Oversight: manage planning, risk assessment, execution and delivery
• Commercial Leadership: lead negotiations and strategic reviews
• Risk Mitigation: develop contingency plans leveraging market insight
• Client Advocacy: ensure client needs are understood and met by all teams
