Senior Key Account Manager, F&B, IND Global KAM IEM

About the Role

Grundfos seeks a Senior Key Account Manager for our Industry team, focusing on the Food & Beverage vertical. Your main responsibility will be to enhance end-user engagement by developing comprehensive commercial knowledge and managing key accounts globally. This remote role can be based anywhere in the Midwestern United States, preferably Chicago.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement key account strategies, including industry trend analysis, target screening, and value proposition development.
  • Grow and maintain selected global key accounts through strategic planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with matrix sales teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and internal transparency.
  • Proactively analyze and report on account performance, maintaining regular dialogue with clients.
  • Drive strategic conversations and value selling to position Grundfos as a preferred partner.
  • Lead yearly negotiations and monitor pipeline, sales, and profitability metrics.
  • Share knowledge and develop personal competencies for strategic engagement.
  • Collaborate across functions to promote a customer-centric culture.
Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a combined engineering and commercial background is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a large international company.
  • Industry knowledge of Food & Beverage trends and processes.
  • Experience in B2B customer engagement.
  • Proactiveness, strategic thinking, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with bilingual capability preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and with CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
