Denton County, TX seeks a Juvenile Prosecutor II to handle specialized professional legal work prosecuting felony and misdemeanor juvenile cases on behalf of the State of Texas. You will conduct legal research, prepare for trials, and supervise the assigned division.

Responsibilities include presenting cases in court, negotiating settlements, coordinating with law enforcement and the Children\'s Advocacy Center, and ensuring compliance with juvenile procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas law license.
• Doctoral degree (JD) required.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• Must pass a State Criminal History background check.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute felony and misdemeanor juvenile cases.
• Perform legal research for trials and hearings.
• Prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Present cases in court and file motions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and the Children\'s Advocacy Center.
