Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required (JD)
• Texas license to practice law required
• One year of related field experience required

Responsibilities

• Prosecute felony and misdemeanor juvenile cases in court and prepare related briefs and motions.
• Conduct legal research for trial or hearing preparations involving juvenile delinquency.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, defense attorneys, and court personnel; supervise division activities.
• Attend and present at detention hearings; prepare case files and records for hearings.
• Direct investigators, staff, and support personnel in retrieval of transcripts, judgments, and other records.
