Job summary

Colorado Judicial Branch is seeking qualified Judicial Clerks to support court operations in division 4 and Judge Gunning. The role requires strong case management skills and the ability to work in person from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with a lunch break.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience. Resumes are optional; a typing test may be required during interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• At least five (5) years of experience as Judicial Clerk II or Court Judicial Assistant or equivalent.
• No licenses or certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive case management, customer service, or judicial officer support for clients, judicial officers, or other staff over the counter, in the courtroom, or via phone and email.
• Instructs customers on case types and procedures; shares information for law enforcement, attorneys, correctional officials, and other agencies.
• Mentors employees and leads training initiatives for peers and new staff; participates in cross-training.
