Summary of Job Classification:
Performs skilled administrative, customer service, and technical support work related to court operations: Docket management, courtroom duties, case processing, managing the full life cycle of multiple case types within the Clerk of Court’s office. Works independently under general supervision and may guide newer staff.
Salary offers will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, budget availability, and compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. This is a term ‑ limited position within the Colorado Judicial Department. The position is created to support specific operational needs and project ‑ based work and is expected to last approximately 12 months , though the actual end date may vary depending on business needs and available funding.
Work requires the occasional direction of helpers, assistants, seasonal employees, interns, or temporary employees. The work performed by majority of employees is semi complex.

Work may require providing advice to others outside direct reporting relationships on specific problems or general policies. Contacts may require the consideration of different points of view to reach agreement. Elements of persuasion may be necessary to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas. Interactions have limited impact.

Work Related Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a Judicial Clerk I or Court Judicial Assistant for the Colorado Judicial Department.

Physical Effort Requirements:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally.
