Job summary

DelDOT is seeking an experienced Judicial Case Processor III to review, prepare, process, and maintain a variety of court documents and records. You will independently perform complex case processing work with minimal supervision and interact with judges, attorneys, court staff, and the public.

The role emphasizes adherence to court rules, confidentiality, and accurate data entry using automated systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing deadlines

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in reviewing and evaluating records for completeness and conformity with laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Two years’ experience using automated information systems to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve and report on data.
• Two years’ experience applying laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Six months’ experience creating reports that combine data from multiple sources in an organized format.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and issues a variety of court/legal documents and determines procedural requirements.
• Delivers excellent customer service in person, by phone, or electronically to internal and external stakeholders.
• Applies laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures relevant to case processing.
• Reviews and evaluates case records for completeness, accuracy, eligibility, and compliance.
• Researches case files and records to resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Maintains files and records ensuring all documents are included.
• Uses automated information systems to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve and report on data.
• Attends hearings to provide files and records to the judicial officer; records dispositions and administers oaths.
• May create correspondence, maintain calendars, schedule hearings, and compute fees.
• Performs other related duties as required.
