Job summary

FlightSafety Defense Corporation seeks a senior JSE Architect and Project Lead to own the JSE/SCARS reference architecture and compliance across bids and programs. You will guide architecture reviews, author technical volumes, and align simulator and training offerings with SCARS-ready standards.

The role requires MBSE,DevSecOps, RMF/ATO experience, and strong technical writing. Travel to government events is anticipated; remote options may apply.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in a technical discipline; master’s preferred.
10+ years in simulation systems architecture or related DoD training systems.
Experience with JSE/SCARS, GRID, and government standards.
Proficiency with HLA/DIS/TENA, ICDs/IDDs, and API-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the JSE/SCARS Reference Architecture and compliance baseline.
Lead architecture reviews, author technical volumes, and shape customer solutions.
Drive MBSE models, DevSecOps integration, and RMF/ATO compliance.
Coordinate with IT/cybersecurity and support lab environments; travel for events.
