Clear Creek ISD CLEAR FALLS HS - League City, Texas seeks a Senior Army Instructor/JROTC for the 2026-2027 school year. The role guides JROTC students toward intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth, aligning with the district’s mission and strategic plan.

The ideal candidate is a retired US Army officer, with commission or warrant, honorable discharge, and US Army Cadet Command certification. Bachelor's degree required; CNACI background check completed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Retired US Army Officer (Commissioned or Warrant).
• Honorable discharge from the U.S. Army.
• Certified by US Army Cadet Command.
• CNACI investigation completed/approved.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the chief instructor of the JROTC unit.
• Manage the JROTC program per school rules and district policies.
• Advise school authorities on laws and safety of the program.
• Continually evaluate the JROTC program.
• Enforce the uniform dress out policy.
• Serve as unit fund manager.
• Conduct risk assessments prior to high-risk training.
• Enforce property accountability.
• Coach Color Guard Team.
• Advise Cadet Battalion Officer staff.
• Coordinate extracurricular activities and out-of-district travel.
• Manage the JROTC program per AR 145-2.
• Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
• Stay up-to-date professionally through learning opportunities.
• Research district policy and current practices before action.
• Participate as a team member contributing to goals.
• Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.
• Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for safety.
• Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
• Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
• Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
• Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with stakeholders, students, teachers, and co-workers.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure goals are met.
• Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication.
